We do not sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. As of this policy’s effective date, Muscle Activation San Jose does not meet the current business thresholds that generally determine whether the California Consumer Privacy Act applies.
We use service providers to operate our website and business. Depending on how you interact with us, these providers may process information on our behalf or under their own privacy terms. They include:
These providers may use subprocessors and may process information outside California. We may also disclose information when you ask or authorize us to do so, to professional advisers when reasonably necessary, when required by law or valid legal process, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a business reorganization or transfer subject to applicable requirements.
Our website and its providers may use cookies or similar technologies for essential site functions, security, remembering choices, measuring website use, and operating embedded services. You can adjust your browser settings to limit some cookies, although doing so may prevent a feature from working correctly.
Google Analytics and other third-party services may collect information about activity over time and across websites or online services under their own privacy terms. Our website does not currently respond differently to a browser’s Do Not Track signal. We do not sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
The interactive Google map on our Contact page is designed not to load until you activate it. Activating the map or selecting a directions, review, social-media, video, or other external link allows the relevant provider to receive information about the request.
We use the following general retention periods:
Some information may be kept longer when reasonably necessary for legal, tax, transaction, dispute, fraud-prevention, security, or recordkeeping purposes. Removing information from an active system may not immediately remove copies from protected backups, required transaction records, security logs, or a service provider’s systems.
Our website is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. Current services may be available to a minor only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. A parent or legal guardian should submit contact and scheduling information on the minor’s behalf and contact us before providing information about a minor.
We collect a client’s photograph or video only when it is appropriate for the service and the client, or the client’s parent or legal guardian when applicable, has provided written consent. This collection is optional. We use and retain this material only for the purposes described in the consent and applicable client-record practices.
You may ask us about the personal information we maintain about you, request a copy, ask us to correct inaccurate information, or request deletion. To make a request, email scott@matsanjose.com, call 408-766-4322, or write to the postal address above.
We may need to verify your identity and authority before acting on a request. A request may be limited when information must be retained for legal, tax, transaction, security, recordkeeping, service-provider, or backup purposes. Other services, including Schedulista, Stripe, Google, and Mailchimp, may provide their own privacy controls for information they hold.
Newsletter subscribers can stop marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in any newsletter message.
We use administrative, physical, and technical safeguards intended to protect information in a manner appropriate to how it is handled. Access is limited to people and providers who reasonably need it for the purposes described in this policy. No website, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, so please do not send unnecessary sensitive information through a public form, ordinary email, or text message.
The Rebuild Method and its planned use of Kinetisense have not launched. They are not part of the current information collection described in this policy. Before either becomes available, we will review the actual service configuration, vendor terms, access, storage, retention, deletion, security, and consent practices and update this policy as appropriate.
Nothing in this policy represents that Muscle Activation San Jose or any service provider is a HIPAA-covered entity or that any website, platform, or vendor arrangement is HIPAA compliant.
Our website links to or may display services operated by other organizations, such as Schedulista, Stripe, Google Maps, Google, Yelp, Facebook, and YouTube. When you activate an embedded service or follow an external link, that provider may receive browser, device, referral, account, or usage information. The provider’s own privacy policy governs its handling of that information.
We may update this Privacy Policy when our website features, business practices, service providers, or applicable requirements change. We will post the updated policy on this page and revise the effective date. If a change materially affects how we use information already collected, we will provide additional notice when reasonably appropriate.
